Moonlight Basin Avalanche Course
Moonlight Basin
Moonlight Basin Ski Patrol offers a comprehensive, one evening and two-day avalanche class based on the American Avalanche Association's Level One guidelines. Coursework blends classroom and on-mountain learning.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Registration - $200. Moonlight Basin and Biggest Skiing in America season pass holders receive a $50 discount.

Huck - a - Berry Rail JamMoonlight Basin
This ski and snowboard rail jam highlights Moonlight Basin’s Zero Gravity Terrain Park features. Its convenient location in front of the Headwaters Grille makes it a great venue for participants and spectators!
NEW: This year’s competition occurs during Spring Break. Competitors are invites to come out and practice the week prior to the big event.
Entry fee is $25 and includes lunch and an event t-shirt. Day of registration only at the Headwaters Grille from 8am-9:30am.

Headwaters Spring RunoffMoonlight Basin
Moonlight Basin is hosting its 5th Headwaters Spring Runoff. This is a one-of-a-kind big mountain event that draws an amazing caliber of skiers, riders and telemarkers from all across the region. Moonlight Basin’s Headwaters, known as the steepest in-bound terrain, becomes the focal point for this exciting amateur hike and freeride competition. Its high visibility and energy level makes it a great spectator event!

Big Sky Resort will once again design a 100-foot pond filled with water that skiers and snowboarders will navigate and skim across or in some cases, directly into. Business Seminar - Integrated Marketing and Social MediaBig Sky Institute
The Big Sky Institute and the Chamber of Commerce are hosting a follow up seminar on Social Media. This seminar is sponsored by the Big Sky - MSU Community Education Partnership which is Underwritten by the Big Sky Resort Area District. The seminar will be hosted by the Big Sky Institute and the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce.
In the First Hour of the seminar there will be a General presentation with Q&A Dr. Omar Shehryar, MSU College of Business Marketing perspectives, using social media as part of an integrated marketing strategy.
In the second Hour there will be a Hands on session limited to 12 people with Ritchie Boyd, MSU Extended University. Participants will spend time on the computer to explore what the tools look like and how they work
Focus on: Facebook, Twitter, Forums, Blogs, and Lightly cover Linked In and RSS.
There will be a third hour for extra hands on help.

Kids Classic Golf Tournament

The Big Sky Youth Empowerment Project Kids Classic charity golf event with Tom Weiskopf is scheduled to take place at Black Bull! If you have not played this course, here is your chance. The event is tentatively scheduled for Sunday evening, August 22, with golf on Monday, August 23. As always, this event includes dinner and clinic on Sunday night for eight people and golf for four on Monday. The event will sell out early so contact Pete MacFa
